Summer Programs 2025

Creative Arts

DAI Creative Arts workshops immerse participants in the history and culture of Islamic, Native American and New Mexican art. These programs seek to ground participants in New Mexico’s indigenous and local art traditions, while encouraging synthesis between New Mexican, Native American and Islamic arts.

Our creative arts programs are scheduled to launch in Summer, 2025, inshallah.

Thought Leadership

Thought Leadership programs articulate Dar al Islam’s vision of Islamic spirituality and education within the American Muslim landscape. This will occur through storytelling, conferences and scholarly research. Through these efforts, we seek to inspire, guide and empower American Muslim individuals and communities to return to the fitra.

Our first Thought Leadership program will be a writers’ workshop hosted at Dar al Islam in Summer, 2025.

Suhba Mentorship

Suhba Mentorship programs are cohort-based learning programs tailored to the needs of specific segments of the North American Muslim community. These programs focus on immersing participants in a wholesome environment and good company to explore Islam, spirituality, Prophetic leadership, and character building.

DAI plans to launch a 5-week spiritually integrated service internship focused on character building in Summer, 2025.
